About The Position

Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physician/nurse practitioner and nurses with day to day operations. Responsible for supplies in work area and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • LPN Education: Graduate from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing program.
  • LPN Certification & Licensures: Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri.
  • LPN Certification & Licensures: BLS certification.
  • LPN Experience: Skill in taking vital signs, history, attention to detail, patient education and instruction, and multi-tasking.
  • LPN Experience: Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public.
  • LPN Experience: Ability to maintain quality control standard and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations.
  • LPN Experience: Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions.
  • LPN Experience: Assume responsibility for professional growth and development.
  • LPN Experience: Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs.
  • MA Education: High School Diploma or equivalent-required.
  • MA Certification & Licensures: BLS Certification.
  • MA Experience: Skill in taking vital signs.
  • MA Experience: Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and public.
  • MA Experience: Ability to maintain quality control standards and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • MA Experience: Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions.
  • MA Experience: Basic computer skills-required.
  • MA Experience: Ability to learn and perform diagnostic testing/procedures such as x-rays and non-waived testing.

Nice To Haves

  • MA Certification & Licensures: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)-preferred.

Responsibilities
