About The Position

Carroll County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) is seeking a qualified LPN or CCMA for their Bedford Family Practice location. This role is crucial in upholding CCMH's mission to improve the health and well-being of the community by providing quality, compassionate, and cost-effective healthcare. The position is a full-time, 40-hour per week role with an LPN starting at $24/hr. The successful candidate will work at the Bedford Family Practice at 470 US 421, Bedford, KY 40006.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant Program
Current licensure in the State of Kentucky or certificate in medical assisting
CPR Certification required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient and family interactions to care for patients
Measure vital signs on each patient upon presentation to clinic.
Administer medications as ordered by providers while maintaining the 5 Rights.
Document accurately in the patient’s electronic medical record.
Reconcile patient medication lists.
Contact patients regarding important messages about medications, test results, and other general medical information.
Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA requirements.
Other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
