About The Position
BAYADA is seeking new graduate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for their Nurse Residency Program. This program is designed to help nurses flourish by learning new skills, growing with challenges, succeeding in assignments, and advancing their nursing careers. The program offers one-on-one patient care, flexible scheduling, paid time off, weekly pay, electronic charting, in-depth paid training, access to simulation labs, short commute times, and around-the-clock clinical support. BAYADA's Nurse Residency Program is the only paid, new graduate residency program in home care accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). As a non-profit organization, BAYADA focuses on quality care, with Clinical Managers providing thorough training to ensure new nurses are comfortable and confident. They care for people of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels, allowing nurses to explore their passions. The Garden City team offers exceptional one-on-one training by a seasoned Clinical Educator and a supportive management team dedicated to finding the perfect schedule fit.
Requirements
- Current valid nursing license in the U.S.
- Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
- CPR in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one patient care.
- Utilize electronic charting with AlayaCare.
- Participate in in-depth paid training.
- Work with adult and pediatric patients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels.
