About The Position
ColoVAX's goal is to provide immunization education and vaccinations to underserved communities. ColoVAX is seeking compassionate and dedicated LPNs to join our team in Colorado. This position plays a crucial role in providing vaccinations to children in accordance with the Vaccines for Children program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric vaccines and be committed to promoting public health and safety. This position demands flexibility and dedication, with irregular hours and occasional overnight travel across Colorado. Requirements
- Current LPN license in the State of Colorado
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Work outdoors
- Travel across Colorado, including some overnight travel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of electronic health records for vaccines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of VFC program guidelines and vaccine administration protocols
- Experience with immunizations: 1 year
- Spanish language proficiency
Responsibilities
- Administer vaccines to children according to VFC program guidelines
- Educate parents and caregivers on the importance of vaccinations and proper immunization schedules
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and best practices in vaccine administration
