FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: This position will generally work Monday through Friday but may need to flex time to occasionally accommodate community events on the weekends. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)
Current basic life support certification (BLS)
Two years of experience as an LPN - in a clinic setting preferred

Nice To Haves

Injection experience in pediatric or family practice preferred
Candidate must be self directed and willing to provide front and back office services

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patient
Performs patient triage in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standards
Utilizes assessment and analysis skills in delivering medical regimens as directed by physicians, advanced practice providers and registered nurses
Delegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
Collaborates with the clinic team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and stewardship
Fosters a learning environment for patients, families, and all members of the health care team.
Advocates for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
