About The Position

Agemark Senior Living is seeking a passionate and compassionate LPN Memory Care Manager for Holland Farms in Norwalk, IA. This role involves leading a team, providing exceptional care to residents with cognitive challenges, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Requirements

  • LPN license in the State of IA.
  • Experience overseeing residents and staff.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience with proven supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of facility licensure regulations, OSHA standards, and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and social media.
  • A warm, approachable personality with a passion for seniors and memory care.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and step into other roles as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Geriatrics, Elder Care, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor the memory care team, fostering an environment of trust, compassion, and respect.
  • Provide coaching, recognition, and professional development to empower staff.
  • Collaborate with families, providers, and staff to ensure residents receive personalized, high-quality support using the Best Friends™ Approach to Alzheimer’s care.
  • Oversee care plans, safety protocols, and documentation while maintaining regulatory standards.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the community through events, programs, and meaningful interactions.
  • Manage departmental budgets, assist with marketing and outreach, and maintain the neighborhood's welcoming, safe, and organized condition.
