About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking an LPN Medical Surgical for its Visiting Nurse Association in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. This per-diem, day-shift position is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and serves the Team 1 area, including Rehoboth, Somerset, Swansea, Seekonk, Tiverton, Assonet, Raynham, Taunton, Dighton, Berkley, and Freetown. Homecare experience is preferred. Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager or designee, the LPN provides competent health care to individuals and families in the clinical setting. The role promotes health maintenance for individuals, families, and the community through teaching, counseling, collaborative planning, and appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing measures. The pay rate is determined based on experience, with a listed range of $30.68–$46.07 per hour. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- Current LPN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Rhode Island licensure may also be required depending on the geographic assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
