About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking an LPN Medical Surgical for its Visiting Nurse Association in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. The position is per diem on the day shift, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The assigned Team 1 service area includes Rehoboth, Somerset, Swansea, Seekonk, Tiverton, Assonet, Raynham, Taunton, Dighton, Berkley, and Freetown. Homecare experience is preferred. Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager or designee, the LPN provides competent health care to individuals and families in the clinical setting. The role promotes health maintenance for individuals, families, and the community through teaching, counseling, collaborative planning, and appropriate preventative and rehabilitative nursing measures. Southcoast Health is a not-for-profit health system serving communities in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Compensation is based on experience, with a stated range of $30.68 to $46.07 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- Current LPN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Rhode Island licensure may be required depending on geographic assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt once hired.

- Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database, and electronic records programs.
