This position is for a Medical Oncology role, Full-Time, Day Shift, 70% FTE.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program or LPN, RN with Current Ohio license (for MA role).
• Medical Assisting, Nursing, LPN, RN (Major/Area of Concentration).
• Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) (for MA role).
• Successful completion of Adena skills assessment and written test annually (for MA role).
• BLS - Basic Life Support.
• 1-2 years experience in medical office or similar capacity (for MA role).
• 1-2 years experience in similar capacity if acting in the Scribe role (for MA role).
• Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPN role).
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required (for LPN role).
• Medical Office experience (preferred for LPN role).

Nice To Haves

• Medical office experience preferred (for MA role).
• 1-2 years experience in a similar capacity preferred (for LPN role).

Responsibilities

• Provides professional care through the application of clinical skills and processes to assigned patients.
• Provides direct patient care.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the care team to achieve optimal patient care.
• Has access to confidential patient information.
• If working in a Scribe role, enters information into the Electronic Medical Record or Chart at the direction of a physician or licensed independent practitioner. The Scribe does not and may not act independently but documents the physician's or licensed independent practitioner's dictation and/or activities.
• Reports to the practice manager or designee for non-clinical functions.
• Has the authority to make independent decisions within scope of practice (for LPN role).
