LPN/Medical Assistant, Dermatology Clinic
About The Position
Park Nicollet is looking to hire LPNs and Medical Assistants to join their Dermatology team. This role utilizes broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices, providing assistance to providers in accordance with PNHS standards and policies. The Dermatology group is the largest in Minnesota with six convenient locations and employs over 40 providers. Park Nicollet continues to expand, aiming to hire more providers each year and has a team of over 80 medical support staff members and over 20 frontline and call center staff. This role may require occasional floating to the St. Louis Park site to support provider coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing.
- Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
- Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
- Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
