About The Position

This role involves collaborating with physicians and registered nurses to deliver essential patient care, assist with clinical procedures and treatments, and prepare patients and exam rooms. The Medical Assistant will conduct initial interviews, measure and document vital signs, and ensure a ready environment for the provider. A key responsibility is documenting patient care journeys, clinical data, and necessary information in electronic health records for continuity of care and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role includes managing practice operations by organizing patient records, coordinating clerical and scheduling tasks, and maintaining stocked and clean clinical areas.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse experience desired.

• Manage practice operations by organizing patient records, coordinating basic clerical and scheduling tasks, and ensuring clinical areas are consistently well-stocked and clean.
