About The Position
Saint Clare's Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Med Surg team. The organization serves communities in Morris, Warren, and Sussex counties through a network of hospitals and healthcare facilities. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. Care addresses patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general needs and communication needs of patients and families. The nurse works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year of experience in an applicable setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care services within the scope of practice.
- Address patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care.
- Meet the communication needs of patients and their families.
- Perform under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
