The Graduate Nurse, under the direct supervision of a Licensed nurse, is responsible for the nursing care of assigned patients. Included in such responsibility is the goal of assisting patients to move rapidly uneventfully and safely through their hospitalization period. Requirements

  • Graduation and training from an accredited school of nursing.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) B.L.S. certification for health care provider required upon hire or during orientation.
  • The Graduate Nurse, under the direct supervision of a Licensed nurse, is responsible for the nursing care of assigned patients.
  • Included in such responsibility is the goal of assisting patients to move rapidly uneventfully and safely through their hospitalization period.
  • Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
