About The Position

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Med Surg assignment at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in medical-surgical units providing direct patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. The position includes flexible scheduling with competitive pay and the chance to enhance your clinical skills across various patient care settings. The assignment is for 13 weeks with a possible extension.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in the state of assignment
• Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• BLS certification required
• Willingness to travel and adapt to new clinical environments

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs
• Assist with patient assessments and documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients
• Adhere to hospital policies and nursing standards
