About The Position
Peterson Health is hiring a full-time Surgical Scrub LVN in Kerrville, Texas. The position works Monday through Friday, either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, and requires call. The Surgical Scrub LVN coordinates with the circulator to plan and implement patient care in the operating room, maintains AORN and AST standards to support patient safety, assists the surgeon with gowning and gloving, drapes the sterile field, and performs technical tasks.
Requirements
- CST certification.
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational/RN Nursing Program.
- Operating room experience.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Meditech, faxing, and scanning.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
- One or more years of experience as a CST in a hospital operating room.
Responsibilities
