About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a reliable LPN/LVN for a fast-paced ambulatory care clinic. The role involves supporting providers, managing patient flow, and delivering care to both adult and pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
Requirements
- Active LPN/LVN License (New York or compact)
- Minimum 1 year ambulatory/outpatient experience
- Pediatric experience required
- Strong clinical skills (injections, EKGs, vitals, swabs, procedures)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
Nice To Haves
- Travel experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- EMR system experience
- Experience floating across departments
Responsibilities
- Room patients and record vitals, history, and chief complaints
- Administer medications and injections
- Perform EKGs and assist with diagnostic procedures
- Conduct specimen collection (including nasopharyngeal swabs)
- Perform basic clinical procedures (ear flushes, BP monitoring, etc.)
- Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Support clinic workflow and patient flow
- Communicate effectively with patients and care teams
- Float to other departments as needed
