LPN - Long Term Care - Child Center
About The Position
This posting represents a per diem/on-call, day shift position for an LPN in the Long-Term Care unit at Providence Child Center. The unit has 46 beds serving both pediatric and adult patients, including those requiring long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and assistance with activities of daily living. The population includes medically fragile individuals with complex developmental and neurological conditions, as well as adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. The team is committed to compassionate, resident-centered care in a nurturing environment, emphasizing teamwork, respect, and continuity of care. The unit also utilizes an interdisciplinary approach, collaborating with respiratory therapy, rehab, and social work.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school for practical nurses.
- Upon hire: Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year LPN Experience
