About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join their team. The role offers a $20K Sign on Bonus and requires IV Certification. Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND, is a 41-bed Critical Care Hospital. It provides long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, often requiring critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, it offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where staff can build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor
  • IV Certification
  • Ability to project a professional image
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of clinical experience in a health care setting
  • Three (3) years medical/surgical experience
  • One (1) year of area specific experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for clinical functions on the unit, including all aspects of patient care incorporating the nursing process in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act
  • Ensure that the unit to which assigned shall function in a smooth, organized, and efficient manner as directed by the Registered Nurse
  • Provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care
  • Demonstrate clinical competence
  • Manage patient care
  • Improve quality of care
  • Establish professional relationships and utilize professional skills
  • Fulfill responsibilities of the role of the hospital
  • Develop clinical expertise per specialty
