This role provides nursing and direct care services for individuals with disabilities living in the community. The goal is to teach people with developmental disabilities how to acquire the physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills needed to live as independently as possible. The LPN will perform all duties necessary to meet state-approved objectives, including cooperation with the licensee, NJ Department of Human Services, and the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation. The employee must also cooperate and comply with the requirements for checks of criminal background, the central registry, the child abuse registry, and drug testing. The LPN will address any issues regarding the health, safety and/or welfare of the individuals in cooperation with Allies, Inc. Support Manager, Allies, Inc. Administrative staff and/or NJ State Case Management as applicable. The LPN will adhere to the most recent revisions of Allies, Inc. and the State of New Jersey policy and procedure including, but not limited to The Allies, Inc. Code of Ethics, The Allies, Inc. Operational Manual, DDD Circulars, and/or any other relevant policy and procedure.
