Juniper Communities is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Spearly Center location. The Spearly Center is a unique 130-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in behavioral and mental health, with 80% of residents being fully independent. Requirements
- LPN (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
- Observe patients/residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Provide assistance as necessary with activities of daily living.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks.
- Collect lab samples.
- Communicate with other members of the team, residents, families and medical professionals.
- Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
