We offer in-home care services tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse, is responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their wellbeing as part of a larger medical team. Their duties include checking vital signs, recording a patient’s medical history, and assisting patients with hygiene.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ nursing experience preferred
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
- proof of negative TB test within last 12 months
- Current LPN license in GA
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and with directions
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
Responsibilities
- Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
- Accurately monitor and track clients’ overall health and medical history during every visit
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Change bandages, wound dressings, and catheters, among other related healthcare tasks
- Verify clients are taking the correct dosages of medications and p ass medications according to the MAR
- Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
- Provide emotional and psychological support to the client and family members as needed
