About The Position

Cooperative Home Care is hiring an LPN Visit Nurse to work with our Home Health division. Most of our patients are dependent on the care they receive from our RNs, LPNs, and caregivers, so we hire the most compassionate and thoughtful talent in the field. This position includes the use of a company car, as well as the support of a positive company culture. If you enjoy working one-on-one with clients, outside of a facility or hospital setting.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license.
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
• Act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing bed, etc.).
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
