About The Position

Come join our team as a full-time IV Certified Licensed Practical Nurse with BJC Medical Group in Farmington, Missouri. This is a rare opportunity to join a great team! This position is 40-hours per week, day shift, and benefit eligible. There is no call, no weekends, and no holidays required. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• LPN - IV Cert
• No Experience
• No Supervisor Experience

Nice To Haves

• Associate or Trade School Equi - Nursing
• <2 years Experience

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing services to patients under the supervision of a physician or other licensed provider within the scope of practice for the LPN.
• Performs clinical skills, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point of care testing and medication administration. Assists with medical office procedures and initiating/discontinuing IV fluids as directed.
• Follows HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, Medication Management and Infection Prevention procedures for cleaning and sterilization of equipment and/or instruments.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate and prompt charting in the patient's record.
• Triage calls, provide test and lab results to patients and present relevant information to provider with correct medical terminology.
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
