About The Position
Working Nurse Homecare Agency is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide home health care in Southwest Broward. The agency partners with hospitals, physicians, and families in Broward County to deliver patient-centered care that helps patients manage their health at home. The home health LPN provides care according to each patient’s plan of care. This includes monitoring the patient’s condition, promoting health, teaching and training, and providing direct nursing care. The role involves travel throughout Southwest Broward and is performed on the road. The ideal candidate has knowledge of Medicare, communicates effectively, works independently, and is proficient with computers and documentation.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification; BLS certification is required.
- Proficient in documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
- Ability to travel throughout Southwest Broward.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Computer proficiency.
- Experience and knowledge of Medicare.
Nice To Haves
- IV certification preferred.
- Experience with geriatric and pediatric patients preferred.
- One year of nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
