About The Position

First Day Homecare is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for upcoming home care opportunities in the Jacksonville and Charlotte, NC areas. This role involves providing dedicated, 1-on-1 medical care to children in their homes, managing complex medical interventions, administering medications, and educating family members. The agency is growing and aims to build a culture centered on clinical excellence, compassion, and exceptional patient care, while also prioritizing the well-being of its nurses.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license required to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated, 1-on-1 medical care tailored to the child's specific developmental and clinical needs.
• Managing complex medical interventions, which may include G-tube feedings, tracheostomy/ventilator care, seizure management, and respiratory treatments.
• Administering scheduled medications and closely monitoring vital signs and changes in condition.
• Educating, communicating with, and empowering family members so they feel confident in their child’s ongoing care plan.
• Watching a child thrive and hit developmental milestones at home, away from a hospital setting.
