About The Position
The McGuire Group is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Float Pool Team serving our East Patchogue area facilities. This position is ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to support multiple clinical teams while delivering exceptional resident care. The Float Pool nurses play a critical role in supporting our residents, strengthening our teams, and ensuring high-quality care across our organization.
Requirements
- Current New York State LPN License
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work effectively in multiple facility environments
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to the clinical team
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and resident assessments
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and support staff
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care
