About The Position
Join Lovelace Medical Center as a day-shift, part-time Emergency Room Licensed Practical Nurse in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, the LPN provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current nursing practice standards, organizational policies, the scope of LPN licensure, and hospital policy. Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds that provides comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.
Requirements
- Graduate from a practical nursing program.
- Obtain a valid New Mexico RN License or valid multi-state compact license within 90 days of hire.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- CPR.
