About The Position

This role involves utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The LPN will collaborate with the healthcare team, evaluate patient responses to interventions, and accept delegated nursing measures for which they are qualified and licensed. The position is part-time, with a schedule of Monday-Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and may require some evenings and weekends. The location is 333 E Miller Drive, Bloomington, IN. 47401.

Requirements

Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license.
Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Successful completion of orientation.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

Administer vaccinations and immunizations.
Conduct patient health screenings, including blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol screenings.
Educate patients on preventive health measures and wellness initiatives.
Accurately document screening results and communicate findings as appropriate.
