About The Position

This position is located in Rockbridge County and provides clinical support to the physician as needed, along with direct patient care. The role contributes as a member of the care team and assists with the efficient operation and maintenance of the clinic. The LPN or CMA performs and documents assigned duties under the physician’s direction and supervision, in accordance with the medical model of care provided by the State Board of Nursing. The position initiates implementation of processes and accesses operational components of the office as needed for daily operations, including the physician’s office, medical records, medical supplies, and locked drug closets or refrigerators.

Requirements

CPR certification.
Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Virginia or a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the State of Virginia.

Previous physician office experience preferred.
