About The Position

Adena Health is seeking a Clinic LPN or Cert-Reg Medical Assistant for their Occupational Health department in Jackson. This is a full-time, days position. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP). The position emphasizes safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Both LPNs and Medical Assistants are expected to utilize foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills and knowledge in their daily practice, contributing to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities include direct patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPNs).
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required (for LPNs).
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (for MAs).
  • Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (for MAs).
  • 1-2 years experience in a similar capacity preferred (for LPNs).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity (for MAs).
