About The Position

Adena Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for an Occupational Health clinic. This full-time position involves 32 hours per week during the day. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP). Responsibilities include direct patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with the healthcare team, adhering to organizational values and scope of practice. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPNs).
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required (for LPNs).
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (for MAs).
  • Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (for MAs).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity preferred.

  • Medical Office experience (for LPNs).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP).
  • Provide safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills and knowledge in daily practice.
  • Contribute to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations.
  • Perform direct patient care.
  • Provide administrative support.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Deliver compassionate, respectful, and effective care.
  • Adhere to the scope of practice defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing (for LPNs) or the scope of practice for Medical Assistants.
