About The Position

Acts as a collaborative member of the clinic team in providing continuity of and quality patient care. Assesses and provides appropriate intervention for the problems that patients and families experience related to their healthcare and treatment, to include teaching, counseling, and supporting as needed to assist the provider, patient, and family. Also acts as lead clinician in assistance to the provider and/or as a dedicated telephone assistant, and also provides clinical oversight for the clinical employees of the clinic.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Alabama LPN Licensure.
BCLS must be obtained during orientation period.
Minimum of two years clinic experience in direct patient care setting.
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
Must be able to use computer terminal, fax machine and copy machine.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of GPMS/EMR is preferred.
