About The Position

This is a Part-Time position for a Wellness Nurse Manager at Boulevard St Peters, located in Saint Peters, MO. The role involves supervising the building in the absence of department heads, actively participating in and leading the Wellness team and other departments to ensure prompt, reliable, and person-centered care. The position requires being available to assist with call lights and team requests, demonstrating a sense of urgency to prioritize resident needs. Accurate and efficient documentation of resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents is essential. The role also emphasizes exemplifying core values through professional, caring interactions with residents, ensuring they feel safe and cared for.

Requirements

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
Must have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!

Nice To Haves

Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as it is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building.
Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs, great or small, of a resident first.
Resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents should be completed accurately and efficiently, and filed correctly.

Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
