About The Position

Wilber Care Center is seeking a Part-Time LPN Charge Nurse for the evening shift. This role offers a consistent schedule with several days off per week and requires working every other Saturday. The position involves providing clinical leadership to the nursing team, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. You will work with an experienced team in a collaborative environment with above-average staffing ratios and supportive leadership committed to employee success. Requirements

• Current Nebraska Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong assessment, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising nursing assistants and medication aides during your shift.
• Administering medications and treatments.
• Completing resident assessments and responding to changes in condition.
• Communicating with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and physician orders.
• Promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Serving as the clinical leader during evening and overnight operations.
