About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for pediatric or adult care to join its Bedford County Skilled Nursing team. Nurses provide compassionate, reliable, one-on-one care to a client in the client’s home, with opportunities to build relationships and observe milestones. Client ages range from infants to geriatric patients.

The role offers flexible scheduling based on nurse availability, with days, nights, and weekends available. Private-duty shifts may be 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours; the posted available schedules specify 8- and 10-hour full shifts. PRN, part-time, per-diem, and full-time hours are available, with no minimum hours or mandates. Compensation is $25–$32 per hour, and pay is weekly on Thursdays. Nurses typically travel to one nearby client home on a schedule they choose.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home on a chosen schedule.
• Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide hands-on, one-on-one care to a client.
• Build relationships with clients and observe their milestones.
