About The Position

George Walton Academy (GWA) is an independent, Pre-K-12, college-preparatory school located in Monroe, Georgia. GWA seeks an engaging, energetic Lower School Testing Center Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. The Lower School Testing Center Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of the lower school testing center.

Requirements

• Experience working in an elementary school and pre-school setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to supervise young children and enforce school policies effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs throughout the day.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work as an integral part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the testing center, ensuring a quiet, structured environment.
• Coordinate student accommodations, scheduling, and materials for assessments, including utilizing the read aloud programs.
• Maintain communication with teachers and support staff regarding testing needs.
• Ensure compliance with school testing procedures.
• Manage LS standardized assessment implementation.
• Assist in standardized testing across all divisions.
• Other duties as assigned.
