Lower School Music and Assistant Teacher

Montessori Academy of ColoradoDenver, CO
Onsite

About The Position

The Montessori Academy of Colorado is a metropolitan school that engages each child through innovative academics, exploration of character, and a fearless, forward mindset. This is a dual role supporting the ECE Montessori music program and assisting in the Primary classroom during the afternoon program. The ECE Music Teacher is a versatile and nurturing musician who supports our students' musical journey from infancy to age six, honoring each child's developmental stage through the Montessori lens. This role requires an educator who can move fluidly across three musical journeys: gentle rhythm and repetition in the Nido (3–18 months), joyful movement and exploration in the Toddler Community (1.5–3 years), and playful discovery of music and technique in the Primary Community (3–6 years). In the afternoon, the role shifts to supporting a Primary classroom, guiding children through transitions, work cycle choices, and engagement within our after-school community.
