Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking a full-time Library Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. The Library Assistant will work collaboratively with the Lower Division Librarian to manage book budgets and ordering, circulation, and parent volunteers, as well as library displays. In addition, the Library Assistant supports lessons in grades PK-1 and participates in a variety of supervision duties to support the daily operation of Lower Division. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience and/or training working in an elementary school. A good sense of humor, a positive outlook, and an appreciation of the unique qualities of the age group are essential. Candidates must show a strong willingness to receive feedback regularly, grow professionally, significantly contribute to the life of the school, and will be eager to work in a culturally and ethnically diverse environment.
