About The Position

This position is for a Lowboy Driver who will be responsible for operating a tractor and trailer (specifically a lowboy or flatbed) to transport and relocate heavy equipment and various materials to job sites. These materials and equipment are essential for the construction, repair, and paving of roads.

Requirements

Minimum two (2) years of related tractor/trailer driving experience hauling large machinery and material loads
Valid Class A CDL w/ "N" endorsement
Current Federal Medical card
Satisfactory driving record
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well with others
Working knowledge of all FMCSA regulatory rules
Must be punctual and dependable
Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions
Ability to work in dirty and dusty environments

Nice To Haves

Experience with various types of heavy equipment
Some mechanical aptitude, training and/or experience

Responsibilities
