About The Position

This position is for a Lowboy Driver who will be responsible for operating a tractor and trailer (specifically a lowboy or flatbed) to transport and relocate heavy equipment and various materials to job sites. These materials and equipment are essential for the construction, repair, and paving of roads.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of related tractor/trailer driving experience hauling large machinery and material loads
  • Valid Class A CDL w/ "N" endorsement
  • Current Federal Medical card
  • Satisfactory driving record
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Working knowledge of all FMCSA regulatory rules
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
  • Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions
  • Ability to work in dirty and dusty environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with various types of heavy equipment
  • Some mechanical aptitude, training and/or experience

Responsibilities

  • Driving a tractor and trailer (lowboy or flat) to job sites
