About The Position

We're hiring Entry-Level Low Voltage Technicians to support data center construction projects. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a scissor lift or boom lift certification, some exposure to commercial cabling or a low-voltage trade school education, and a desire to grow in one of the fastest-growing industries in construction and technology. As a Technician I, you'll work alongside experienced technicians while learning the fundamentals of data center and low-voltage infrastructure installation.

Requirements

Active Scissor Lift and/or Boom Lift Certification
At least 3 months of commercial cabling experience OR completion of a Low Voltage/Telecommunications Trade School program
Ability to work 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Ability to work in a construction environment
Strong attendance and reliability
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday
Desire to learn and build a career in the data center industry

Nice To Haves

Experience using hand tools
Basic understanding of low-voltage cabling
Experience installing cable support systems
Exposure to commercial construction projects

Responsibilities

Pulling and routing low-voltage cabling
Installing and supporting cable pathways, including J-hooks, cable tray, D-rings, and trapeze systems
Organizing, dressing, labeling, and securing cables
Building communication closets, racks, and patch panels
Assisting with network infrastructure installations
Installing cable support structures and hardware
Performing cable testing and basic troubleshooting
Assisting with fire-stopping and sleeve installations
Completing job documentation accurately and on time
Following all job-site safety and quality standards
