About The Position

Kastle Technologies Co., LLC (“KTECH”), an EMCOR Company, is a leading low voltage integration services company providing preconstruction, construction, and services in a variety of markets, including automotive, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and mission critical. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of the Low Voltage Integration or ICT industry.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees.
  • Regularly required to walk; use fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.
  • Frequently required to stand.
  • Occasionally required to sit.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to move/lift heavy objects, climb vertical ladders, work at heights and be proficient in the use of common hand and power tools.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regularly required to commute to field locations and various job sites.
  • Ability to navigate around job site locations.

Nice To Haves

  • BICSI and/or AVIXA certification desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Install low voltage copper and fiber optic cabling.
  • Terminate, test copper and fiber cabling systems using certified test equipment.
  • Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Repair and install network enabled systems such as CCTV, Access Control, AV Control Systems, Central Sound, Video Management Servers, Projectors, Screens, Interactive Displays, etc.
  • Assists in keeping building common and technology spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
  • Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, national and local codes and industry standards such as TIA and BICSI.
  • Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.
  • Attend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.
  • Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.
