About The Position

This is a Contract-to-Hire position for an entry-level Cable Technician I, focusing on supporting large data center projects. It's an opportunity for individuals with backgrounds in trade school, construction, or low-voltage work to build a career in a high-demand field. The role offers hands-on training, a clear path for career growth, and the potential to convert to a full-time, long-term position. No extensive experience is required, but a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.

Requirements

• Trade school training (electrical, low voltage, or similar) OR experience in construction, labor, or hands-on work
• Interest in learning structured cabling / telecommunications
• Comfortable using tools and working with your hands
• Reliable transportation to the job site
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a team environment
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass a 10-panel drug screen
• Pass a 7-year background check

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Cat5/Cat6 cable
• Fiber optic exposure
• Blueprint reading or construction site experience

Responsibilities
