About The Position

Adams, Inc. is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team serving Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who already has hands-on experience installing and servicing low-voltage systems and smart home technologies. If you're the type of technician who can confidently install, troubleshoot, and commission technology systems while providing an exceptional customer experience, we'd like to speak with you. Requirements

Minimum 3 years of low-voltage installation experience
Experience with one or more of the following: Structured cabling, Home automation, Security systems, Access control, Surveillance cameras, Audio/video systems, Networking, Smart lighting controls
Ability to read plans, wiring diagrams, and specifications
Strong troubleshooting skills
Professional appearance and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Install structured cabling and low-voltage wiring
Install smart home automation systems
Install whole-home audio and video systems
Install network and Wi-Fi infrastructure
Install surveillance camera systems
Install access control systems
Install smart lighting control systems
Install Lutron lighting and motorized shade systems
Install home security and monitoring systems
Install integrated technology solutions for residential and light commercial customers
Troubleshoot and commission technology systems
Provide exceptional customer experience
