About The Position

This role involves working with other installers and independently to complete installations and service calls. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be self-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply 'best practices' theory. Some travel is required.

Requirements

• Experience working with various cables that include, but are not limited to: cat6e, coax, 22/2, 22/4, 16/4, 16/2, 18/6, 18/4
• Experience in running, pulling, terminating, testing and labeling cables.
• Experience with low voltage rough-in's and trim-out's; residential and/or commercial
• Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team
• Strong organization and time management skills with an ability to understand priorities and work efficiently with little to no supervision
• 1-3 years experience in structure wiring: cabling, terminations, testing
• Experience in security systems: wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, setup monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC)
• Experience in CCTV systems: wiring, design, setup, troubleshooting
• Experience installing A/V equipment
• Experience installing access control equipment
• Clean driving record, background check, drug screening
