About The Position

This role involves working with other installers and independently to complete installations and provide assistance on service calls. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be self-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply 'best practices' theory. The ability to use hand and power tools is essential, and some travel is required.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in structure wiring: cabling, terminations, testing.
Experience in security systems: wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, setup monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC).
Experience in CCTV systems: wiring, design, setup, troubleshooting.
Experience installing A/V equipment.
Experience installing access control equipment.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Clean driving record.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with various cables that include, but are not limited to: cat6e, coax, 22/2, 22/4, 16/4, 16/2, 18/6, 18/4.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and task-driven.
Some travel required.

Responsibilities

Complete installs and service calls assistance, working both independently and with other installers.
Apply 'best practices' theory.
Use hand and power tools.
Perform various cable-related tasks including running, pulling, terminating, testing, and labeling cables.
Conduct low voltage rough-ins and trim-outs in residential and/or commercial settings.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Manage time efficiently and understand priorities with little to no supervision.
