About The Position

The Lovejoy Financial Education Facilitator leads daily operations of MCCU's student-operated branch at Lovejoy High School. This role serves as both educator and mentor, guiding student tellers through real-world financial service experiences while teaching foundational financial literacy concepts. The Facilitator performs Universal Representative duties, assisting members with accounts, loans, transactions, and credit union services while supporting branch operational goals.

Requirements

  • One to three years of member service, lending, banking, or credit union experience.
  • Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED required).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to mentor and motivate high school students in a professional setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with branch leadership and school administration.
  • Professional, positive, and service-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Teaching, tutoring, classroom facilitation, youth mentorship, or other instructional experience preferred.
