About The Position

The Lounge Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service to guests in the lounge area. This role ensures a positive guest experience while maintaining compliance with AGCO alcohol service regulations, health and safety standards, and Delta Bingo policies.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol in Ontario (Smart Serve certification preferred or required).
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or customer service in supervisory role is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve guests promptly, courteously, and professionally.
  • Take orders accurately and deliver food, beverages, and other items efficiently while ensuring the staff members are doing the same.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor concerns or escalate to management as appropriate.
  • Maintain a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for all guests.
  • Ensure all lounge and gaming floor staff serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with AGCO regulations.
  • Ensure staff members follow responsible alcohol service practices, including verifying ID and monitoring consumption.
  • Delegate the staff and assist in food and beverage preparation, stocking, and presentation as needed.
  • Handle cash, tabs, and point-of-sale transactions accurately.
  • Adhere to AGCO regulations, Delta Bingo policies, and standard operating procedures, while ensuring staff members adhere to the same standard.
  • Coach and teach the staff to ensure all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or non-compliant behavior to management.
  • Delegate and organize lounge and gaming staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist and provide leadership with cleaning, setup, and closing procedures.
  • Attend and lead team meetings and training sessions as required.
