About The Position

The Lounge Server at Luxor delivers exceptional, personalized service in an upscale lounge environment. The role takes and serves beverage orders with precision and efficiency while creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere that enhances the guest experience. The position requires completing the Restaurant Training Program and testing.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Successful completion of the Restaurant Training Program and testing is required.

Nice To Haves

• Six or more months of prior relevant experience as a cocktail and/or food server in a similar environment.
• Cash-handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening side duties, including preparing cocktail napkins, stocking supplies and glassware, lining cocktail trays, and inspecting and correcting the cleanliness and condition of assigned stations and service areas.
• Know the liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor.
• Know the designated glassware and garnishes for each drink.
• Communicate orders through the Bartender system and verify their transmission.
• Know hotel services and features, along with local attractions and activities, to respond to guest inquiries.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority and refer other matters to management.
• Notify a supervisor and/or Security about unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Successfully complete the Restaurant Training Program and testing.
