Lounge Attendant and Concierge Service
About The Position
We currently have an opening for a part-time Village Centre Lounge Attendant and Concierge Service (ProServ Certified). As a Village Centre Lounge Attendant and Concierge Service, you are professional, you are connected, and you are empowered. In every moment and in every interaction. You have a strong willingness and devotion to the highest level of customer service, impossible is Conciergable! You come to us with a strong customer facing background within the hospitality/service industry and are available to work a flexible schedule (16-24 hours per week), primarily covering evening shifts (2:45 pm to 11:15pm) on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Requirements
- ProServ Certification required for the role
- A sensational customer service philosophy, with the desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity
- 3 – 5 years of working experience at a significantly high Customer Service level, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule which could include weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays when required
- Outgoing & kind personality
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adjust to continually shifting priorities
- Consistently neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion when dealing with Owners, Guests, and Vendors
- Strong computer skills including an expert working proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service to Owners and Guests, in a personalized and refined manner
- Assist our sales team in providing tours of our Amenity Centre
- Operate our newly opened Terrace Bar by promptly serving a variety of beverages with enthusiasm and personable service
- Assist in the opening & closing duties of the Terrace Bar & Amenity Centre including various clean-up duties as required
- Set-up and assist with daily programs and events as scheduled
- Assist the Operation Manager in duties associated with the smooth operation of the Village Centre as needed
- Complete administrative duties as assigned
- Review pass-on at every shift to ensure full understanding of requests and timelines
