About The Position

Velocity Vehicle Group is looking for a Lot Porter / Driver to join their team in Fontana, CA. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. The role involves assisting with the customer check-in process, driving trucks between the customer service area and the service repair garage, and returning them to customers once repaired. Responsibilities also include maintaining the cleanliness and presentability of trucks on the lot and the lot itself, conducting weekly inventory checks, performing local deliveries, and acting as a liaison between the sales department and the service/body shop. Additional tasks may be assigned as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Two (2) plus years driving experience preferred
• Current Commercial driver license A / B
• Must have good time management skills
• Must be detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Assist with the customer check-in process.
• Drive trucks from the customer service area to the service repair garage.
• Drive repaired trucks back to the front of the building to return to customers.
• Maintain the trucks on the lot clean and presentable for potential customers.
• Maintain the lot in clean and marketable condition.
• Perform weekly inventory checks, including starting/running vehicles.
• Perform local deliveries.
• Act as a liaison between the sales department and the service/body shop.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the department.
